NORTHWIRE, the manufacturer of cables "made by LEMO", celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Ormund Kravik founded NORTHWIRE in 1972 in Osceola, Wisconsin. The company's name and its logo (a compass) are a tribute to the founder's native country, Norway.

LEMO Opens New Nursery School in Switzerland
The nursery school for LEMO employees' children is located near the factory site in Ecublens. It will have space for 22 children including 5 babies, 7 toddlers and 10 pre-schoolers. It is open Monday to Thursday from 6:30 to 17:00 and Friday from 6:30 to 15:30. The name "Les m?mes" sounds like "LEMO" and stands for "the kids" in French

LEMO acquired NORTHWIRE this summer. Together, the two companies will be able to provide their mutual customers with high-quality complete cable connector solutions
